On Team Tobin since 2008
As Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Victor is responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, and treasury activities for the company. He partners closely on a daily basis with Jason Tobin on a full range of areas including partner relations, asset management and keeping an eye on our performance and delivery. In addition to the traditional role of a CFO, Victor brings a strategic complement to the senior management team, capable of advancing their ideas and visions by delivering a better understanding of how Tobin’s financial functions operate in alignment with that vision, ultimately supporting strategy development and helping enable its execution. He is the “other point of view” and a critical element of senior management, which directly contributes to the success of Tobin.
Victor has more than 30 years of progressive accounting, finance, and management experience under his belt. Prior to joining Tobin as controller over a decade ago, Victor served as Vice President of Finance for the Florida Division of a national real estate developer and homebuilder. He also spent 13 years at a publicly-traded, independent oil terminalling company, including five years as controller.
Victor earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business, and Master of Accounting degrees from Florida International University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is also a member in good standing of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Victor has also earned the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
In his free time, Victor enjoys collecting and tasting fine wine and has traveled extensively with his wife Pam and children. His love of travel began at a young age and led him to go backpacking throughout Europe with a friend when he was 19 years old.
